Mario qualified in 2001 securing a gold medal in his year group. He has since undertaken extensive university based postgraduate education. Mario is currently completing the final few months of advanced training in Prosthondotics at King's College, London and Implant Dentistry at the Eastman Dental Institute. In his quest to achieve clinical excellence in aesthetic medicine and dentistry he has trained under experts in postgraduate centers in Europe.

He has been a clinical teacher at King's College London supervising final year undergraduate dental students and is a postgraduate academic supervisor at the University of Kent. He is a member of the International team for Implantology (ITI), the Faculty of General Dental Practice (FGDP UK), the British Society of Periodontology, the Society for the Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry (SAAD) and the British Society of Dental Sleep Medicine.

His expertise covers General and Family Dentistry, Implant dentistry, and non-surgical anti-ageing aesthetic medicine. He is skilled in complex smile design and in management of tooth wear. He believes in minimally invasive dentistry and as part of the full smile rejuvenation Dr Mario undertakes orthodontic treatment using clear aligner technology such as In-line and Smilelign to maximize preservation of tooth structure for optimized outcomes. He has a special interest in TMJ, bruxism and headache management. He has undergone training in the dental management of sleep disorders such as snoring and obstructive sleep apnoea.

He also undertakes Botox and aesthetic skin rejuvenation therapy and skillfully produces subtle, natural looking results to control the aging process.
