Prag Lal qualified in 1991 and is currently an Associate Specialist and Honorary Senior Specialist Clinical Teacher in Oral Surgery based at King's College Hospital in London which is part of King's Health Partners, one of the largest Academic Health Science Centres in the U.K. Prag's current remit includes the provision of consultant services, under-graduate and post-graduate teaching and training, clinical management and leadership and translational research.
Prag also provides specialist services in primary care in addition to teaching and training for practitioners.
Prag has a specialist interest in oral surgery with a focus on advanced or complex procedures and the management of phobic and/or medically compromised patients. Prag also has an interest in the management of facial pain and TMJ disorders. Prag is involved in the dissemination of continuing medical education for practitioners and is an examiner for graduate and specialist examinations for the Royal Surgical Colleges.
